Vive la Revolution!

Vicky has joined the Sitting Quitting campaign and made herself a standing desk too!

Bar stools seem to be next on the agenda as the old legs aren’t used to this much standing, it would be nice to take the weight off every now and again.

    Yup! Helen’s inspired me on the quitting sitting plan! Hopefully we’ll feel a bit more healthy and awake and avoid some of those horrible stats associated with sitting for more than 6 hours a day such as: risk of heart disease increasing by up to 64%, calorie burn rate dropping to less than 1 per minute, losing 1% bone mass a year etc etc..Next step: under desk bike/ treadmill – I wonder if we can generate the electricity needed to power the computers? 😉
