Flash Serious Games Developer
You will be responsible for writing, testing, debugging and implementing Flash. You should be able to use Flex development frameworks to design and develop RIAs, either from scratch or using PIXELearning’s LearningBeans Engine. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer animation, computer science, or a related field, will have completed an extensive Flash training program, and be fluent in ActionScript especially AS3. A strong portfolio and several years of experience is also highly desirable.
As a Flash programmer, you are responsible for using Flash software to turn concepts and designs into compelling, interactive content that functions the way it’s supposed to. You will work on several projects at any given time and may be asked to provide assistance at all phases, from concept to production. You may also be required to come up with ideas for improving and maintaining existing applications. You will need to look for creative solutions to complicated programming issues.
Ideally you will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, game design or information technology from an accredited university. However if you are able to demonstrate a suitable level of experience in place of formal education you may still be considered.
Ideally at least two years of experience developing Flash applications is desired.
