Helen Routledge, Instructional Games Designer
Helen is PIXELearning’s Instructional System Designer Manager and specialises in designing serious games for corporate training and education. With 8 years market experience and a background in Behavioural Sciences (Psychology) Helen has helped create, promote and evaluate games for learning in various corporate sector companies such as Comcast and HP and public sector organisations such as the Scottish Institute for Sport Foundation. Helen’s experience has gained her credibility and a name within the industry, as one of the leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs shaping and leading the industry. Her experience has resulted in her becoming a recognised figure on the international speaking circuit on the topics of games for learning in corporate and education.

Helen Axe, Project and Marketing Manager (aka Chopper)
Chopper….or Helen Axe when she’s not at work holds a BA (Hons) in Communication Culture and Media from Coventry University and has gathered over four year’s experience of working with innovative forms of technology. With an eye for detail Chopper has been tasked with roles on projects for process awareness game for Shell, an EU funded projects (Energy Awareness) and educational projects aimed at bringing games into education with Realityworks. With this, Chopper has first handedly seen students and teachers response to games as a valued medium of learning. Further to her involvement in projects Chopper finds time to carry out some marketing activities (where the time comes from one does not know).
